What really should be asked is what D gets traded? Leopold used to have some value and he still might but not for anyone to put pucks in the net. I'd take a 3rd round pick.

This doesnt make sense... If it was a call up for a few games then it should be McNabb because we dont risk losing him after like 3-5 games played.... With it being pardy we could lose him for nothing...

apparently he can be used for 9 games or 30 days and be sent down without having to go through waivers

Very true. If this team was still owned by Galisano I'd think calling up Pardy over McNabb was to get more bang for their buck and have a guy with a one way contract called up to earn his NHL salary in the, ya know, NHL. But this isn't owned by Galisano so you might be right.
